Designed to complement the new Ninja Ultra, the AtomOS 11 operating system equips your monitor with a host of fresh features, all presented through an enhanced icon interface for intuitive operation. From Focus Peaking and Zoom to Atomos and ARRI False Color, EL Zone colorized exposure, Safe Areas, RecordAssit, PlayBackAssist, SegmentPro, and Cine Guides, an array of monitor assist functions are at your disposal. The AtomHDR processing engine also enables real-time Log to PQ/HLG previewing, fostering seamless workflow efficiency.

Supporting a range of log formats from manufacturers such as Sony, ARRI, JVC, RED, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon, the Ninja Ultra provides versatility in color handling. The option to upload custom 3D LUTs expands creative possibilities, while HDR conversion output is available in Log, HLG, PQ, or Dolby Vision formats.
HDMI Interface and ProRes RAW Recording
The Ninja Ultra is equipped with HDMI input and output ports, supporting up to DCI 4K video at 60 fps in monitoring, recording, and playback modes. It even accommodates 3.5K RAW at 60 fps footage with select cameras. Moreover, over 55 camera models offer RAW recording support via HDMI with the Ninja Ultra, reaching up to 8K at 30 fps.
Versatile Power Options
Featuring an L-series battery plate, the Ninja Ultra supports NP-F L-series batteries with an output range of 5.8 to 7.2V. A USB-C port provides 30W PD power delivery, facilitated by the included cable. Additionally, the monitor can be powered via DC sources using the included dummy eliminator.
Optional Atomos CONNECT Module
The Ninja Ultra’s compatibility with the optional Atomos CONNECT module amplifies workflow flexibility. This module offers access to cloud-based workflows such as C2C, Atomos Edit, and Atomos RemoteView via Atomos Cloud Studio. Additionally, the CONNECT module provides 12G-SDI connectivity, AirGlu wireless timecode and control, Wi-Fi 6, and GigE Ethernet, enabling the transmission of video signals to live streaming platforms via NDI or custom RTMP/S destinations. Functions specific to the Ultra include SDICine, enhanced metadata support, RAW recording via SDI, dual 4K60 ProRes RAW and 1080p60 H.265 dual recording codecs, and 4K C2C mode for higher quality uploads. The AtomX CAST component empowers your Ninja Ultra to transform into a compact, fully featured production studio. This feature facilitates advanced multi-input switching from up to four 1080p HDMI sources, supports the application of graphic overlays, and introduces the ability to employ a USB UVC webcam output, perfect for enriched web conferencing and live streaming.
Efficient SSD Recording
The Ninja Ultra supports compatibility with the Atomos Master Caddy II and Master Caddy III 2.5″ hard drive units, facilitating direct recording onto these drives. Moreover, compact AtomX SSDmini drives and CFAST II cards can be used with the Ninja Ultra via a separately available adapter.
Control Choices
The Ninja Ultra ensures effortless control through multifunction buttons, working seamlessly alongside the intuitive touchscreen interface. Auto HDMI camera trigger is supported by Canon and Sony cameras using Atomos Open Standard. The optional CONNECT module unlocks Bluetooth and RF-driven remote control capabilities.
