**Revolutionary Ball Head (patent pending)**

The Chronicle’s ball head boasts a unique platform. It caters to cameras using a ProMaster Dovetail (Arca-type) quick release and swiftly transforms into a robust smartphone clamp for your phone photography needs. Transitioning between camera and phone modes is effortless: simply turn the conversion knob with the phone icon on top (a simple half-turn) and unfold the phone clamp. To revert to camera mode, fold the clamp and turn the knob to align with the camera icon. The best part is, there are no external accessories to worry about or special tools required—everything is seamlessly integrated.

The ball head is a joy to use, featuring a primary knob for adjusting ball tension and a separate knob for panning. Unlike most ball heads with a single “U” for vertical orientation, the Chronicle employs two “U’s” for enhanced control. It includes a convenient bubble level to assist with composition. Additionally, a control handle can be attached or removed as needed, greatly benefiting video shooting by working in tandem with the head’s tension control for smooth pans and tilts.

**Introducing the Flexor (patent pending)**

Replacing the conventional center column, the Chronicle introduces a completely fresh design. With your camera or phone attached to the head, simply turn the knob on the yoke’s side and lift the ball head. This creates a comfortable handheld stabilizer, perfect for on-the-go shooting. Extend the Flexor’s legs, and it transforms into a tabletop or ground-level tripod. But the versatility doesn’t stop there. By attaching the upper portion of the Flexor, along with the ball head, to one of the tripod’s legs, you create a traditional monopod. By swapping the standard rubber foot for the Flexor’s bottom section, you now have a monopod with a robust 3-leg base featuring a built-in ball joint for smooth panning and tilting. Just like the ball head, the Flexor effortlessly transitions between its various forms without the need for external accessories or special tools.

**Remarkable Tripod Features**

As a standalone tripod, the Chronicle impresses with its ability to support up to 22 lbs. It reaches a working height of over 59″ and collapses down to a compact folded length of just under 23″. With a cold tolerance rating of -4°F (-20°C), it remains reliable even in harsh conditions. The tripod’s legs offer three angle positions and individual adjustability to conquer any terrain, and thanks to the standard 3/8″-16 connection of the feet, you can easily switch them out for all-terrain alternatives.

Every knob, leg lock, and the removable control handle are equipped with soft silicone for a comfortable and secure grip. The included quick release plate, identical to those used on ProMaster’s XC-M tripods, features a textured silicone surface for an anti-twist connection and a strap loop for compatibility with various hand and neck straps. The Dovetail (Arca-type) connection is compatible with a wide range of plates and accessories from ProMaster and other brands.

**Versatile Yoke**

The tripod’s yoke is equipped with a bubble level and two threaded accessory ports with stainless-steel sleeves—one with a 3/8″-16 port and the other with a 1/4″-20 port. These serve as connection points for flex arms, articulated arms, and other accessories. The 3/8″-16 port also doubles as a storage spot for the soft foot when it’s removed for attaching the Flexor’s 3-leg base in monopod mode.
